Yea. I like to kick it here more than FA. Although you can get more help for tech Q's on FA I still like it better here.
ROFL. That hurts.... I guess this is a Altima site too now... Welcome to SERZilvia.net. Stupid kids.
Ive never seen a member off SE-R.net here to be honest. O well.
I think people are scared of Zilvia.net cuz I picked a weird name since I drove Z's and 240s and wanted a site for both :p Even though its turned into a mostly 240 site, you can find all the Z to 240 swaps here ;)
Lets see, are these long time members here because they were banned from SE-R.net?
Me

I get no love :bash:.... :p
I'm wondering if Alitmas.net and Club240.com being somewhat linked (I know all the Altimas.net guys go to the club240 forums when the altimas.net server goes down....) had anything to do with that....
Or... maybe they're just jealous of the RWD versions of their engines?? The fact that SR swaps are easier for our cars?? We have 2 less doors?? Maybe it's because 90% of the posts on here are NOT 1 word replies?????
:p

2402NR is another person on here who owns (kinda) an altima, well it's his gfs, and I doubt he goes to that site.
This seriously just came out of nowhere. We have nothing to do with them, how are they gonna start talking trash.
Oh well "it's just another badass behind a keyboard":rant2:

i think what was said was wrong IMO and possibly shows their own insecurities, at least from what was said. Mark, I know it sounds somewhat excessive and frivolous, but that guy did make a defamatory comment about your site and its participants. Just to scare the $hit out of him...or you know.
In order to prove defamation, you have to be able to prove that what was said or written about you was false. If the information is true, or if you consented to publication of the material, you will not have a case. However, you may bring an defamatory action if the comments are so reprehensible and false that they effect your reputation in the community or cast aspersions on you.
on the other hand, i'm all about the free speech issue, even though under law, what he said abused his civil liberties on speech and such.
he was prolly banned from here and is just venting. just a thought though.
i mean, I would not someone from another board to go after me for sumtin like that.
jus sum info for ya...

haha...pretty funny..
i have an altima and a 240..:)..and i must say..altimas.net is a bit more of a fun place to hang out..but i think that's just cause there are alot more people who post on it so threads move more quickly..also their off topic is pretty damn hilarious..
however i must say that i have met nothing but nice people here...:D
cthunder is actually a good guy..what thread did you find that in?..i wanna go make fun of him..:)

i also found this quote when i browsed altima.net. I dont have an account so I didn't bother responding to any of them.
You can advance/retard the timing but I don't see that serving a purpose without any other mods. You can add a cold air or warm air intake.
Warm air intake, eh? But what if I want a tepid air intake?

what do you usually refer to it as?
to my knowledge there are: WAI (Warm Air Intake), CAI (Cold Air Intake), Short Ram (can be another name for WAI), Ram Air, etc..
no?

why would you want warm air coming into your intake? warm air intake is basicly just having a filter on your stock hose. look it up.

maybe because someone can't afford to spend the money on an intake system which gathers Fresh Air as opposed to Engine Bay Temperature Air..not everyone has the money for a CAI..thus a cone filter, or WAI, is the best they can do..which still does improve performance..

i know what it is :mrmeph:  ;)...that's what i stated it was in the first place...to which you replied:

so i asked the question:

..i was refering to the terminology..obviously..my only argument, from my very first post in this thread, was that "WAI" was a valid description for the act of putting a cone filter, with or without custom piping, on your MAF Sensor..i stated nothing about the benefits of said modification as compared to those of others..
learn to read..then give me **** for my posts..:D
