just like it says can i use th rb20det 1 series tranny on the rb25det first series motor?

The question is why would you want to ?
Its much weaker then the RB25 transmission. Cant find one anywhere?

It should bolt up since they use the same block. The issue will be whether or not you should. If you plan on drifting or dragging, you might wanna hoard up some KA trannies since RB20, RB25DE (NA), SR20, KA and CAs are all the same tranny. We all know how pathetic those trannies are. Look below and see the difference...

yes it will work, the clutches and timing belts are also interchangeable.
you can also run a z32 n/a 5 speed tranny and use an rb25 or rb26 front bellhousing then you have a cheap rb25 tranny that'll hold 1000hp with a shift linkage instead of a drop in shifter for more precise shifting and the adjustability to fabricate the linkage so it sits perfectly in the stock shifter hole....
however if you already have an rb20 tranny then just use it. you can put the ka/sr speed sensor in it and your speedo will read correctly as well as depending on your mount kit you may even be able to use your stock drive shaft.

i got a christmas present and it was a rb25det yes ... lol
