S14 sound like g35

Does anyone know of a way to make an s14 sound more like a g35? I don't like the rice sound or tin can sound like most imports I see have. I like the deeper sound a g35 has and how it isn't really loud either.. Any help with this?

Engine sounds have to do with the firing order of the engine.

There is no way you can make this happen with a KA/SR.

you're silly. with the right mods, a KA could sound very mean and not "rice" like.

Put a g35 Sedan mufler and resonator it would be close but not spot on because as they all said its all about the engine!
but i had a g35 sedan muff. it only sounds like a g35 about 28-3500 rpm.
Its a good muffler though!

most likely a swap can fix that. i have an invidia N1 and people tell me i sound like a subaru. this is a stock ka with just a full catback.

Thanks just wanted to see some feedback.. As for the other people on here.. First who cares if I've been on zilvia for year I don't have money or time to work on my car all the time even if I wish I did and if I knew all this stuff already why would I be on here. get a fujitsubo exhaust. they are kind of rare and expensive but worth the money. it's not ricey at all, not loud. i have a youtube link of my car. look up fujitusbo s14 240sx something like that.

sorry I should have clarified more.. I didn't mean ka sound rice just that the people in my town make them sound like crap. I know it's a goo engine with mods I'm just trying to find the right setup to make it sound good

Okay, I am going to throw my hat into this, but here but here is goes.

I have thought of the idea of giving making the exhaust note fuller. And what I mean by that is, other than a 4 cyl. I have thought of a way you can possibly emulate the sound of a flat crank V8 (a la ferrari F350, 360) Heres how

Split your exhaust after the downpipe, run 2 1/2" exhaust on both sides, the key would be to make them one side slightly longer than the other. This would mean that the exhaust pulses on both sides of the exhaust will be coming out at different times. Like a flat plane V8.

Or you could really simplify it down even more (though might cause some turbulence and therefore less performance. You could split the exhaust somewhere after the downpipe, and then re-merge it again. The exhaust pulses will from the split off will be at a different timing then the original pulses and come back in to the stream "between" the pulses.

Its just a thought, but hey, its an idea
