ok so i recently swapped my old motor into my new chassis same (95 240sx). since my new chassis is a factory manual, i had to purchase a manual engine harness and lower harness.

so when i try to start the car, my car just cranks. I am not getting any power to my fuel pump so i checked the fuse box on the driver-side which is good. the relay near the ecu is good but does not click. my car will crank and run if i spray brake cleaner. i have an HU ecu (95 auto ecu).

any help will be appreciated.

how do you know the relay is good if it's not clicking?

on a s13 i had before, the contacts of the fuse holder had opened up on the side leaving the fuse. testing on top of it showed power. but the voltage wasn't making contact to the outbound side of the connector.

check your wires, you could always run a new wire to the Fuel pump but id try to fix the problem, swap the fuse and relay even if they look good they might be bad, I have had that happen before

the relay that's on their is from my old chassis and i know it's good since it used to work. ill recheck that later on today.

yea i mean i can always have a manual switch but i rather have it legit. from what im thinking, i think it might be the engine harness i bought since the previous owner was ka-t. when i move the wires around, the ecu turns off and then on. i noticed it and it was kinda late at night since my friend had work in the morning.

I still don't understand. Is the donor engine manual or auto?

if my friend and i cant figure it out by today, then most likely he'll suggest that.

the motor came out my old car, had a auto to manual swap. then swapped that over and bought a manual engine harness and lower harness since my new chassis is a factory 5-speed.
