Coolant temp sensor ? Odd activity (s13 sr20det)

Hey everyone,

I noticed that my Coolant gauge on the car goes down every time RPM's rise. But when left on idle, the gauge looks like it works showing the needling point to the middle.

Where can I find a coolant temp sensor anyway?

You can use an S13 KA sensor if you think its iffy. But I'd probably change the gauge first.

id actually change the sensor first, its a S-13 SR20DET its getting old

Mine has the problem that when my RPMs almost reach redline, the gauge shoots to the max. I thought it might have been air in the system, but now I just think it's an electrical short.
