240sx swap problem!

Hey guys...my oldest brother just bought himself an 89 240sx last night also...and his stock gauge lights and stuff dont' work...such like....temp gauge...check light...doors light...speedometer...u can say the whole thing doesn't light up...its all dark in the car at night...u can't see anything in the car...don't even know what RPM or how many MPH you're at...stuff like that...its an 89 240sx with a 92 engine swap in it...and the guy my brother bought it from said that his brother was messing around with the engine and ECU b4 the guy got back from the Navy...so what do u guys think? Help us out please!!!

ok check the simple stufff.... check the fuses.... cuz i was like that when i blew my fuse....
does the RPm needles go up and down? does the speedometer move?
if so then also check the lights on the back of the guage,,, ok this is the easy stuff.....
then if it still dont work then check the connections and see is the guages getting power

Thanks...I'm not sure about the fuses but I'll b sure to check that up for my brother...but his rpm needle moves...just not his speedometer...the only thing that works there on the gauges is the speedometer only I think...and the high beam light...signal lights...but I'll b sure to check the simple connections there and the light behind the gauges...thanks..
