Let’s try this again, my last "buyer" fell through. I’ve updated the info and added current pictures of the items in their current conditions. Looking for cash preferably, but would consider trades depending on what it is.
Not looking to part this out.......yet. May consider it soon though.
Also, if the price tag scares you, think about this… If you already have a motor, you can sell it, if you already have a radiator, tranny, clutch, flywheel, intercooler, exhaust, etc, you can sell it. By the time you’ve sold all that stuff, it will have offset the cost of this kit significantly, and you will have that V8 powerband and around 300 hp to play with. To get that much reliable HP out of other motors, you could end up spending much more. I have easily over $6000 into this so this is quite the deal. Yes the parts have about 600 miles on them, but that’s it! For all intents and purposes, they are practically brand new, just broken in.
Info on VH45’s:
- 4.5l DOHC 32 valve NISSAN V8
- Redline at 6900 (ya, crazy huh? That’s 400 rpm higher than a VQ)
- People with this swap are seeing WHP around 280-300 depending on mods and tuning.
- These motors are readily available here in U.S. junkyards and can be had for $200-500 depending on what you need.
- They sound badass Scooter's VH45 S13 on Vimeo (http://www.vimeo.com/5282678) (this is my car)
- Blocks are reinforced and beefy as hell
I’ve done all the hard work and research, made all the custom parts, and didn’t cut a single corner to do this right. This swap kit includes EVERYTHING you need to put a VH45 into a S13. This comprehensive kit includes:
Mazworx Engine Mounts
Mazworx Headers with a high-temp silver coating
Mazworx VHVG S-Chassis Mounts and Adapter Kit (Tranny Mount, Bell Housing Adaptor, Block Off Plates, Mazworx Shifter and Bracket, Hardware, etc.)
Mazworx Aluminum One-piece Driveshaft
Oppo-Moto Custom intake with filter
Z32 Transmission in perfect working order plus the machined bell housing that mats up to the Mazworx bell housing adapter
Modified Peak Performance Pro Transmission bushing for this swap
Exedy Stage 2 Clutch (about 600 miles on it)
F1 Lightened Chromoly Flywheel (about 600 miles on it)
Custom High Pressure Power Steering Line Wrapped in heat shielding
S14 non-abs brake booster (you need this to get the valve covers to clear)
Modified throttle cable
One-off Custom C&R Radiator made specifically for a VH in a S-Chassis
FAL Fans for radiator
Custom Full Stainless 3” Exhaust (Y-pipe) with polyurethane exhaust hangers
Custom Oppo-Moto wiring harness
ECU, MAF, and Ignitors
Brand new Z32 starter
New alternator and power steering belts
Modified alternator bracket
Lots of spare VH parts (mostly extra wiring stuff)
All you will need is a VH45 and you’re set. Good ones can be had for about $200-500 from junkyards. The best ones to get are the 94-95 motors as they have improved heads and electronics along with the metal timing chain guides from the factory. On 89-93’s these need to be replaced as the factory plastic ones have the tendency to break.
$4300 gets you EVERYTHING!!
Feel free to contact me with any questions.
