If you're in the market for a Nissan (http://www.autoblog.com/make/nissan/) minivan you'd better hurry and natch up one of the last of the 2009 models as a 2010 model is never going to happen. Automobile reports that the 2010 Quest (http://www.autoblog.com/tag/quest) will never arrive in the U.S. as Nissan ends production of the people hauler until the next generation model arrives in a year or two.

The Quest was reportedly at the wrong end of a numbers game: Nissan needed capacity at its Canton, Mississippi plant and the Japanese automaker's minivan was reportedly the odd vehicle out. Nissan apparently need to make room at Canton for a new commercial truck, which could be based off of the NV2500 concept (http://www.autoblog.com/2008/12/04/nissan-unveils-nv2500-light-commercial-vehicle-concept/) from the 2009 North American International Auto Show. While the Quest is history for the time being, Automobile says a new minivan is on the way in 2011 or 2012, and will reportedly be made in Japan.

Would Americans buy vans now and ditch their SUVs? The El Grand is just fucking huge and so plain. Its weird, after being here for this long, I started appreciating vehicles not for their looks but for their functionality. That then made me wonder why hasnt these kinds of vehicles caught on with the states. I love the current Odyssey right now, its still practical like a van but its sporty with a lower roof line like its a wagon. Seriously, who wouldnt want something like this...at least if you're a car enthusiast...

The driver side 28" blade in the new frameless style is hit or miss at a lot of the stores around me. I found the 'Trico Tech Beam Blades' online (both 28" & 18") and they work pretty slick. They just came out in late 2009 and what's cool is they have a lower, slightly off-set attachment mounting that allows the wiper arms to sit slightly lower. They’re beefy as hell and look slick with the lower mounts. Wipe clean and quietly without chatter. Came with removal and replacement instructions - easy install. They fit the Nissan Quest nicely. Very nice replacement windshield wiper blades!! Picked them up online.
