Anybody have any problems w/ installing the tension rods w/ whiteline bushings????? on the s14 the bolts do not line up correctly if the single bolt that goes through the bushing is lined up and vice versa s/p?

Try jacking up the lower control arm. This will help line it up with the two tension rod bolts.

with the front suspension completely unloaded i found everything lined up pretty well.... just get the bolts loosely into the LCA first, then line up the front bolt into the bushing. after that, torque everything down (although, I didn't torque the bolt through the bushing down untill i had the car on the ground with the susp. loaded....

The webpage is www.pdm-racing.com very usefull parts and upgrades for 240's and other makes. Not one of those websites w/ useless knick knacks..imo
AceInHole: I went back and torqued everything down after it was loaded (bushing) and checked and re-checked very nice feel. Unfortunetly, now I have found that my rear tires have the steel braids ripping thru....So it's off to spend more money on tires now...Thats how long I've been going on a bad suspension.

Hey samiam,
after the install of the tc-rods with the bushings, did you feel the need to get the car realigned or was everything still pretty straight? I'm installing mine this week, if I get off my lazy a$$ and do it and I have heard I will need an alignment and also no it will not affect any of the alignment angles and whatever.
thanks

ghost: the wear on the tires was from the blown oozing silicone from the oem bushings that I replaced today. the ride was fine w/o an alignment as I drove a whole 1/4 mi to my friends shop as I got the alignment there, because I installed a couple other bushings and new struts.
