Asking for $2800 OBO
1989 240sx XE coupe, s13. Red/dark red
Clean Title, Feel free to carfax it.
VIN: JN1HS34P5KW003081
5speed manual transmission, 165k miles, base options, I’m the 2nd owner, bought it from a family friend. I’ve done just general maintenance on the car, like oil changes and tire rotations, and only replaced things as they broke or needed to be replaced. New tires only had 20k miles on them.
It drives fine still, and I’m only selling it because I’m leaving the country for 2 years. I hope someone can take this car and put it to good use or use it as a good shell to rebuild.
Smog checked in 2008, passed.
Have new tags 10/2010
Selling only in Northern california.
Let me know if you would like to see any other pictures, test drive, or whatnot.
Potential buyers will need to show proof of car insurance, be willing to provide cashier's check directly from the bank, and register the car directly after sale.
Info
There is some spilled hair gel in the back right seat.
There is a fuzzy cover on the dashboard.
There is some damage on the driver side door cover, so the inside yellow foam shows.
There is damage to the passenger side mirror done by the previous, first owner. He replaced the mirror with a smaller one instead of one of the proper size.
There is damage to the body on the front left side, near the tire. It came from the previous, first owner, when he accidentally scraped it. It was never repainted.
There is damage to the body on the passenger side door, near the hinge. The door can still close, but looks slightly open. It was done by me, the second owner.
The license plate was partially ripped off, so I removed it completely and put it on the dashboard.
There is some damage in the trunk to the fuzzy carpeting from the heat of the muffler. The muffler was broken and was not passing out the heat properly, causing some burn damage. I replaced the muffler as a consequence.
The coolant reservoir bottle is slightly cracked. I patched it up with ductape and cardboard. It cannot be filled all the way because it will leak out of the bottle, but it can be filled up above “min”.
The trip odometer is somewhat wacky, but the overall odometer works fine.
Windshield water spray doesn’t work, but the water reservoir is full. Think there’s something stuck in the line.
Lights don’t go down
I have about 90% of all the work that's been done on the car, kept the receipts, so if you want to look at any of them, that's fine.
Again, asking for $2800 OBO
