quick question, need the answer fast. if I install my t28 replacing my t25 would I have to get my ecu retuned? I've heard I wouldn't have to. another question, it's about the t28. I've noticed oil coming out of the turbo spool. cause? is it a bad turbo? I've looked online a few places, but nowhere says anything about oil coming out of there. thanks in advance.

You'd be wise to get it re-tuned.

Where is the oil comming from??? compressor outlet?

yes. I'm afraid I might just have to stick with the t25 and not bother with it. it's also coming out of where the manifold bolts up.

if you leave it on stock boost it should be ok. specially if everything else is stock.

just rebuild the turbo dude, it should be cheaper then buying a new one, and then you know it has 0 miles :)

if its a ball bearing you need a oil restrictor, possible oil issue...
also no need to retune unless boosting more than 12 psi.

What's the point of upgrading the turbo only to be limited to 12 psi? All that work for nothing.. may as well get the ecu mapped somehow for it and boost a solid 1+bar.
