ok.. im in the middle of putting my rear pads on... and when i was bleeding the breaks... i noticed it wouldnt bleed all the way... i was thinking the e brake might have something to do with it... could sombody help me with my problem? if the ebrake is the reason i cant bleed the caliper all the way could somebody help explain how to do this? sorry for the question... its obviously not a big issue.. i search and found nothing on it...

are you trying to bleed the brakes with the calipers off? your whole caliper & pad & rotor assembly has to be together before you bleed it

no.. im changing my rear break pads... and i need to move the piston back to fit over the new pads.... and it wont go back... but i have an idea the Ebrake has something to do with it.... and i dont have a clue how to go at this to fit the caliper over the new pads and rotor...

you mean the piston thing that usually pushes the brake pads towards the rotor right? You it is pushed in and you can't fit the brake pads? If that's the case, I believe you have the twist the piston while pushing to make it go back in.
I dunno.

i mean... the piston wont depress...i cant get it to the point were the caliper will fit over the pad... iv tighten the C clamp as much as i could... but the piston will not depress.... this is all on a base modle s14 btw..

You may have just trashed your caliper......
There are 2 (or maybe 4) triangular depressions on the face of teh piston.
The piston is meant to be turned in like you were tightening a bolt.
You have to turn the piston and push on it at the same time.
There is a special tool available at most auto parts stores (and sears IIRC) to do this. In a pinch you can use a pair of needle nose pliers, just watch your knuckles.
Understand?
Also do a search and i am sure you will find more info.

yeah i think that you have to press the piston in while you are screwing it clockwise(??? check???) only the fronts are push in. the rears need to be screwed lol....

yah it doesnt push in like the fronts...youll need this special tool. Basically its like a c-clamp with a ratchet connection to it. And no, dont use a nose pliers cuz that will take you forever...seriously...forever.
