google voice invites

I have a few google voice invites to give out.
I have been using this for a little while and I love it. You can pick a number similar to your own (usually). If you have Verizon and have friends and family you can set your gvoice number as one of your friends and make free calls. If you set up your gvoice account so it is the number calling you when someone calls you can take free calls. The only trouble with this is you dont know who is calling till you answer. It does however screen every call as they have to state who is calling and you can then choose to send it to voice mail, you can even listen to the voice mail and still answer if you wish. Or you can take the call. You can also block numbers you dont want to take calls from.

This has been a powerful tool for Andy and I (we both use this on our phones) for our business and we can post our gvoice number on the internet and website, choose the hours we accept calls ect.

If you want one of my invites post in this thread why you would like it and how it would benefit you. I know there are people that can use this and will like it and I just dont want to waste it on people that will never use it.

Its hard to run a business from Japan with the time difference. THe ability to limit calls to certain times like you say it can, would stop the crazy middle of the night phone calls routing it through skype

but this is for US only. Im not sure on all the stipulations but is your email address on a US server and your phone number its on a US number?

you can request an invite, but you'll have to wait until they allow another block of people to join. when i did it, it was about two weeks before i got in.

Yup. You don't need an invite. Just sign up for it.

im out of invites. this would be a good place to share them though and I will see if andy has any to give out.

If you have a gmail account, and a youtube account with you youtube account attached to it you are more likely to get a faster invite when you apply yourself
