Black oil coming out of hotpipe?

I have an s14 sr20det, I just finished swaping it into my S13. It drives great! Boosts up smoothly and ect..But I noticed oil on the driveway on the turbo side. Upon inspection I noticed black oil comin out of the hotpipe!:bite: I cant actually see oil leaking from turbo. What do I need to do to fix prob?Also the engine oil is still clean, how come the oil coming out of the turbo is black?

Replace the turbo or rebuild it. Pulling the turbo isn't too difficult of a task.

Okay cool! thx man! Is the s14 turbo a garret t-28? I ll just buy a rebuild kit for that turbo if thats what it is. Also I thought it was a ball bearing turbo but the guy @ the nissan dealership said it wasnt. Is he full of BS?

I believe there is a journal bearing s14 turbo and one that is ball-bearing.
