So my computer has been throwing out this code for a while now... It's in a 97 Civic LX. I havent noticed any decrease in performance or mpg, but maybe its just too small to notice. IDK. Anyway... Here is the code:

P0441- Evaporative Emissions Control System Insufficient Purge Flow.

ALSO

P0441- Evaporative Emissions Control System Insufficient Purge Flow PENDING.

I took it up to Hall Honda who told me that it was intermittent and from too much fuel in the cylinders, and said problem had already worked itself out. They did all of it for free. But then the light came back on...

So I got my own dianostic machine and it was reading the same code. I asked around and a few of my ideas were confirmed. I replaced the gas cap in case it was a bad seal... No dice. I replaced the fuel filter... No dice. I was thinking maybe the EGR valve coulde be dirty/malfunctioning, or maybe that cat...

So I leave you with this question, Zilvia, what is wrong and how can I fix the problem? Ah, I almost forgot, the car has 153,xxx miles and rising (its my DD). There are absolutely no mods whatsoever. D16Y7 engine.

And there are a couple, less pressing issues, that i could give if you really wanted. But ill leave it be for right now. THANKS!
