Installing stance's on my s13. Trying to figure out which way the rears go in. In the picture is the way I think it is suppose to go. One of my friends said he has his installed like this, and other friend says his are positioned with the long end of bushing pointing away from the hub. Just trying to double check. Thanks.

I have Tein HE's and I have installed them as the pictured shown above. I had no problems running them like so for 4yrs.

The thought is that you'd rather the coilover be closer to vertical, than more angled. Those are correct.

Your pic is correct. I confirmed it with Stance when I installed mine.

They should be tapered to only go on one way. Long side out is correct.

You forgot the bolt.

But yea, as everyone said, that's the right way to do it. You need that big space there on the coilover's lower mount so the damper body doesn't hit one of the suspension arms... or was it the knuckle? Either way, big space in/little space out.
This thread makes me shit my pants.
