I've been searching on forums, google trying to find out how to get my pop up head lights to come up higher. If I use that little knob on the motors for the headlights to adjust at all they will reset back to this lower setting as soon as I turn them off. I've tried using those two adjusting screws on the front of the head light and that didn't bring it up as much as I needed to.

Is there some way to adjust the final resting height of my headlights when they come up?

Next, my windshield wiper motor is getting zero power from the harness. I checked using a multimeter and i'm getting ~25 Volts on the branches of the harness that would go to my wiper fluid reservoir.

The wipers worked on my car before I decided to take out the wiper fluid reservoir and surround the harness wires leading to the windshield wiper motor in electric tape since they were poorly taped and hanging over the strut tower previously.

The wires on the harness appear to be cut/shaved open in one section and the copper is outside of its color coded wrapping. The copper wires themselves appear intact (no cuts/segments missing) but are a little bit unwound from their normally braided state.

I'm kind of under the impression that when I took out the wiper fluid reservoir and disconnected the two pieces of the harness that went into it I may have removed a crucial point for the current to go through in order to reach my wiper motor. The lines from the harness that would be going to that wiper fluid reservoir pump are each getting current going through them, but absolutely nothing on the lead that goes to the wiper motor.

Is this a case of bad copper wires not carrying current or are those other two harness leads an important part of carrying current to the wiper motor?

Lastly, I no longer have the wiper fluid reservoir to try out had that been the case.

Any help would be appreciated.

headlights, lock the in the upright position(switch on dash), take off the black plastic housing around the headlight there is a rod that moves the headlight up and down. you will notice a lock nut at either end , loosen them up top and bottom, turn the rod till you get em where ya want them done deal

Alright thanks, I saw those and figured I might be able to do that, but wasn't absolutely sure.
