Need feedback on design direction...

hey guys...ive begun working on new designs for the 6th gen shirts...this next gen of shirts i really wanna step up my game a bit and start experimenting with different printing methods and such...but i want your input on a the designs below

NEW BLACK UMBRELLA DESIGN:

the black umbrella design is meant for a band that im friends with (theyre called "The Dreaming" based in so.cal...lead singer and drummer are former stabbing westward members for those old folks like myself who were into 90s industrial)...the design is based from one of their songs off their upcoming album...if youd like to listen to them check out www.myspace.com/thedreaming (http://www.myspace.com/thedreaming) they JUST released a new cover from their new album...the original is Depeche Mode-Its No Good (again...shows how dated some of us are hahhaha)

anywho...the new DD designs above are meant as neck prints...ive ALWAYS wanted to do neck area prints so im going to be experimenting over the next month or so to see if i cant AFFORDABLY offer these shirts to you guys (they may be priced a few dollars above the normal shirts as i may have to make them in batches and what not)

also...a heads up...starting in january...i will be limiting the amount of color variations for all of my shirts...everything will be knocked back to 2 color setups per design...this will allow for much faster production of shirts as well as enable to me to lower the price of the shirts to $15.00 shipped permanently...the website will be undergoing a bit of change in the next few months and so will my companies image...its time to rebrand a bit...the pink and black gig has been around a little too long for me and i think its time to start messing with a new feel and such

anywho...lemme know what you think of the designs above...CREATIVE CRITICISM IS ALLOWED!!! SHIT TALKING WILL BE REPORTED TO MODERATORS!!! i appreciate input...but if you have snide little comments...please keep them to yourself

i think a green shirt(lighter green) with some light blue(the graphics) would be sick!!! or hotpink shirt with some black/greens/blues(graphics) would be sick!!!

im trying to get away from the hot pink as it seems to be dying down a bit...the Z34 shirt looked DAMN good on a dark grey background with black and pink though

dunno yet...just got the designs whipped up today...so not sure where its gonna go from here yet...gotta figure out if i can print them first ;)

while i was working on these...i was thinking about doing the RPS13 designs with silver and gold metallic inks...these designs are more than big enough to accomodate the thickness of the inks...plus ive found a great way of reducing the inks to print almost like water based inks (the style of inks you find used on shirts in hot topic and such)...water based stuff is VERY hard to print with in small runs...especially here in vegas because it dries out REALLY fast with the heat/dryness in vegas

im really going to be making an effort to get the 6th gen shirts into ONE retail chain this year...alot of the new black umbrella stuff will heavily reflect the kind of stuff found in hot topic or zumiez as those 2 chains are my biggest goal at the moment

just calm yourself there skipper...im planning on some much simpler designs as well ;) (infact one was going to be a hoodie for this years line up that i didnt release in time...its an RPS13 design that is super simple but really neat)

You hit the nail on the head then. It isn't my style, but I really do like the color combo of the black/gold on white with that 180sx. If you were to say...remove the wings from it and put it on a dark blue/light blue tie dye faded shirt (like this but with white up top: http://images.footballfanatics.com/productImages/_230000/FF_230881_l.jpg) so the black and gold would stick out I would definitely pick one up, haha. That's basically polar opposite of the style you're aiming at though.
