changing battery with afc tuned

hi there.. this is a copy of a thread i posted on the engine tech section. i am curious if changing batteries will affect the tuning or the afc set up? i am planning of getting a new batt for my 97 kouki rb. just want to make sure things will be fine aftet replacing the battery.

which afc?
if it has battery backup you are fine.
otherwise just write down the settings... not THAT hard.

just a thought.. before i jumped the batt, it was dead at all. no lights on the panel. i think that's the same thing as having no battery attached to the terminals. am i right?

If you read the instructions for it...should say that it doesnt matter if you disconnect the battery. It has a battery-less memory function that saves the setting on it.
