90 5sp only 83k RED hatch no rust some dings and dents nothing really major. Rins excellent I'm told. It's down in KY. I'm going to pick it up on Sun if the guy doesnt sell it tonite. So everyone keep your fingers crossed for me so I can end my 3 month long search.

It's MINE. The guy that was coming to look at it never showed and the James the guy I'm buyin it from promised me he'd not sell it on me. I'm driving down on sun to get it. I'm SOOO excited. Actually i was told that one of the fenders could be replased and the hood has some scratches in it. So I really wanna do a s13 front end conversion. Sileighty.

Do you guys have any tips for me as far as what I should look for to see if there are any major problems with the car. I cant imagine there would be much with only 83k and no rust but you never know.

BTW this is what I'm gonna get on the liscence plate...DFIIIFT

license plate thing is very ricey, IMO, but just make sure the engine hasn't been beat to hell and odometer still works :) as well as suspension and regular items

I dont think the engine has been beat on the guy I'm buying it from seems really honest and he said the thing runs great.

Is the liscence plate thing ricey if I plan on drifting with it???;)

Congratulations on the car, I'm sure you'll have fun with it.

Regarding the liscense plate, I don't think I would call it rice, but it's not something I would do, were I in your position. I mean, if you were setting it up for drag racing, would you get a plate with "DRAAAG" on it? Or "RDRACE" or "AUTOX"? If you want to go down that road, it'd be much cheaper to slap on some Option2 stickers or something like that (hmmm, I'm not sure if that is a serious suggestion or not). I realize there are at least a few people who have "drift" in their plates, but this is just my opinion.
