Well it seems another problem is cropping up with my car.
When I'm reversing I get this clunking/grinding coming from the rear.
Now, It also does this when the car is in neutral and is being pushed backwards, so I'm assuming it's my diff and not my tranny.
Any ideas? I just want a second opinion.............EDDIE

its probably your brake pads
did you install them or a shop. a lot of times a shop goofs. double check and make sure they are in there proper
if you are unsure, remove and reinstall them.

I get that a lot when I'm in reverse too. I'm not sure what it is but I figured it was my brake pads because I only get the problem while I'm braking. I've just been putting up with it and the car works and stops fine. I know this doesn't help you but I usually just turn up the radio.
Good luck,
Matt

HAHAHAHAHAHA You jokers and your lsd's.
Ok, I'll check my brakes.
No, I didn't install tham, they are the same pads that were on the car when I bought it(february this year).

Mine don't really seem to hit like yours. It's more of a grumbling clanking sound. You feel some resistance but definitely not hitting. I may have a different problem then y'all. Hard to say.
