custom intake

i was wondering if you can get one of those cheap EBAY intakes, and then just make a cold air extension with parts you buy from like Home Depot or such, has anybody done this?

Search for Kreator's custom intake posts. Cheaper than an ebay intake, battery relocation, and a great placement.
