Im looking for a cheapo motorcycle, something that LOOKS like a sportsbike (to get me around when car is down). I want something that looks like a sportsbike because... uh... I dont like cruisers.

anyways, I found this somewhere, does it look like something worth looking at? I dont know what an upper left fairing is, so, whatever. I dont plan on riding it fast or anything, just a-b when car is down.

1989 Suzuki Katana

$750

600cc Runs great. Straight frame. New rear tire. 75% tread left on front. NO oil leaks engine is spotless. Missing upper left fairing and windscreen right upper is in bad shape.

definitely worth looking at! fairing/plastic is expensive, but stripping all the plastic to make a naked isn't ;)

thing is I want it to look like a sport bike..... how much would it cost to replace the fairing and windshield? approximately, $300? $500?

whelp, forget about that.

I was trying to convince my dad, and right as I went in for the kill he got in a huge argument with my mom (they are getting divorced).

so yeah, I find the perfect bike for me, and my gay parents arent gonna let me get it.

heres an 89 katana:

the upper left fairing is where the left mirror is attached to. the bike has been dropped. so if youre planning to get it, make sure the rest of the area is in good condition; forks and frame is straight, etc.

check out ebay for a replacement fairing. it shouldnt be too much.
