I was just wondering what the break in is like for a new clutch. I have had mine a few months and it is completely different than when I first got it. it is a street/strip act in a sr 240. sorry for the bone head question; I have never had a new clutch before let alone a performance one.

i'm surprised a.) no instructions came with your kit and b.) you didn't research..
well, i'm not as surprised about b.
typical break-in time for aftermarket clutches is ~500miles of smooth engagement and easy driving

as to a.) I had the clutch done when I got the engine done and the shop didn't give me anyting (I didn't ask either:rolleyes:) as to b.) no I didn't I am new to the mod scene and I am starting to get the hang of research. as to taking it easy that was very hard the clutch just stuck. I guess I didn't phrase my question right. the clutch seems a lot softer than when I first got it and I was wondering if this is normal. I thank you guys for the help.:)
