So I've gotten everything off except for the grey plug that goes into the alternator, I don't see a tab that I can push in and can't figure out how to take out the dam plug.
Help please?

flash light and a little screw driver.
I hate to say this, If all else fails and you cannot get it out, just firmly grasp the the grey plug and pull it, the plastic tabs will break

Do I just wedge the screwdriver in to push the tabs? Tried that with a flathead but it was a big one and that didn't help.

right, there are two little "Teeth" on each side you just need to push them in towards the the inside and it will release the plug
