I have someone interested in buying my 95-96 non se gauge cluster.

Any differnces between se and non se from 95-96?

The buyer seems to think so, and it wont work. Just trying to clear things up as I am not 100% on the answer.

Yeah, Base has the black gauge face. The SE has the white gauge face. That is the only difference.

the numbers look cooler on the SE cluster iMO cuz of the white.

there is a difference in the harness themselves and the amount of harness. I guess you can include the pigtails so the buyer can rewire but that's a ton of work.

IIRC Zenki base & SE are the same but
they differ from the Kouki base & SE gauge clusters.
You have to rewire the harness as it is not a plug and play affair.

No, there is not. Shut the fuck up if you don't have a clue. The only difference in wiring harness is between Zenki and Kouki. Base and SE per those year are the same plugs.

ok i just need someone clarify a zenki se "white face" will work in a zenki base with no modifcations just plug and play and the kouki gauge cluster has to be re-wired to work in a zenki i have searched every where.....sorry for bringing the dead back to life

Holy fuck...congrats for bumping a 2 yr old thread.

And no, all Zenki S14s have 4 plugs, doesnt matter if its base or SE. S14 Koukis have 3 plugs and the faces are diffent. The Zenki Speedo looks like it overlaps the tach while the koukis have both tach and speedo seperated completely.
