ive had my s14 for almost 3 years and have been working on it for a while. mainly body work. so hard to find parts and all. anyway, i did the s14mc conversion, brand new dupont paint with puple base, fiber images carbon hood, so on and so forth. the day i went to pick it up the paint was screwed up, so i had to wait another week to get it. i come back, the pain that was sprayed on was messed up, do to painter error. so it was wetsanded and buffed off. problem was that it took away a lot of the shine on one side. it was like, its all good, ill clay it in a month, as long as i get my baby. now, when they buffed the car they burnt some paint off on the rear. i said, its all good, some touch up paint is cool. i was in such a good mood i was getting my car nothing would let me down. WRONG. heres where it gets bad. i was driving home to do the z32 brakes and such, right on the 22 freeway, BOOM, tire blows. the car slams to the right , dented the side, and as the tire was spinning, tore my front bumper which i just put on, the one i bought from grant by the way. not only that, it tore the wiring down at the bottom, ripped out the turn signals, and a chunk of tire or something flies up and smacks my winshield and cracks it. not to mention the gouge left on the hood. the suspension might be tweeked, it was shakey driving home but it might have been the spare. it turns out the place i got the tires from gave me a used one, and they mountd it wrong so the tread flew off. all this and it was my first day driving it. to top it all off i jsut bought insurance the day before so it didnt cover any of the damage. if anyone has any fron end parts or side skirts, please email me @ [email protected], i just spent all my money on rent insurance, parts paint and labor just to lose it all on one lousy tire shop. any help will be appreciated. thanks

were they supose to give you a new tire?? if they were im sure you can take them to court and sue them for putting the tire on wrong and selling you a used tired, im sure you can get them to pay for all the damages. Or be happy your not hurt, and rebuild it?!?!

OMG go to that tire shop with a baseball bat and a skimask and engage in some oldschool fun!

I would also not have let the car leave that paint shop untill the job was done correctly, but before that, I would have checked the BBB to see if they had alot of complaints.... by the way they seemed to have treated your car, i would guess they have quite a few.

the guy who did the paint as cool, hell redo it but i have to wait for the paint to dry from the inside, so 30 days. the tire shop im working with right now. it was supposed to be new but when i took it out i looked at the inside and there were a bunch of patche and ****. i think they mounted it on the wrong way and the tire was rotating the wrong way, thats why th tread came off. the thing is there is a 500 charge for small claims in court like this, and it takes a while for everything to go though, so my main objective is to get the car in driving condition again. new winshield, new bumper, new wheels in front (other got a hole too from the impact when i slammd to the side) new turn signals and possible supension (control arms, etc) ds anone have anything like this? thanks for your response guys (and gals)

if possible, keep the car of the road, and try to sue for exactly what happened. otherwise you may get knocked for replacing parts that may not have been damaged in the accident, though they may have

be an a$$, threaten with court, they will most likely settle
