So sick of eating like a fatass but no time to cook full on healthy meals. Post up HEALTHY fast food. Weather it something you can make SUPER QUICK at home or something you can buy. Cost is no issue. Just has to be KINDA healthy.

mcD's honey mustard grilled chicken wraps are healthy.

i made excel spreadsheets of fast food chains with their nutrition facts and added filters that range from healthy to death.

fyi- carls has nothing that's even remotely close to being healthy.

Error.

Those are fast foods that they make you think is healthy. Technically, a healthier food would be minimally processed- so your best shot are local "ma and pa" burger places. Yes they have more calories blah blah, but that's with all food. Ideally you want the ingredients to be:
A. Be minimally processed- little to no man intervention in its production.
B. Contain very little saturated fat, transfats, partially hydrogenated oils. I'm not saying fat is bad (hell, we store it by nature), but these kinds generally don't sit well with a healthy standard.

I just buy rotisserie chicken from the supermarket.
mix into greens as a salad, or just eat as is.
also pretty cheap as is.

switching soda for something like iced-tea or mineral water is also helpful.

minimizing carbs also worked wonders for me.
I also try to stay with simple carbs like rice & potatoes,
as opposed to more complex carbs pasta, noodles, & bread.

Pactin suggested something that indirecly worked well for me.
I reduced eathing chain fast food.
I was afriad the 'processing' and preservatives would increase my chance of getting cancer.
(the fear is not unjustified given 20% of american today die of cancer).
over the years, I've stayed within 160 lbs (@ 6' tall), as opposed to 170-180.

I usually order a side salad at McDonalds and a McChicken (w/o mayo). I take out the chicken and cut it in pieces and throw it in the salad. There's my $2 chicken salad.

HOORAY for CHIPOTLE!

Maybe if you eat half of a burrito, they're over 1,000 calories each.

I know, I was just pointing out that just because it's minimally processed doesnt mean it's necessarily healthy.

Chipotle- drug free yet still addicting.

Why the fuck does nobody ever say

TOGOS

I'm a fucking manager at the one in anaheim hills (socal) I would hook any of you Zilvians up if I was workin'. You roll up in a 240, look for the nametag WES and say the magic words "hi I'm (insert stupid zilvia screen name here) from zilvia <3 may I please have a sandwich"

I've been working there for 4 years and the only 240's Ive ever seen roll up was me and my friends, then ONE cool guy to pick up some rear valences..

Well I stopped working there regular part time a month ago (when I lost my license). Now I just pick up shifts every now and then maybe like every other week or somthin. Friends pick me up, or if I'm down in Anaheim Hills then I'll see if they need help. I've got 2 other jobs and one more job lined up for when I get my license back all local in Huntington

I've been going to a lot of Vegan restaurants lately. Some stand-outs.

The Roxy in Encinitas is great, the falafel burger is better than most burgers.

Sipz Cafe in La Jolla. The meat is fake, but you'd never know.

Vegan is tough to get acustomed to.
I like my dairy products & eggs in my food.
It's hard enough to eat Vegetarian.
Food seems a bit too starchy.

I will give that Sipz place a shot.
It reminds of chinese vegetarian food.

There's not much in La Jolla/utc anyways
(I am stuck there occasionally, thanks to the lady friend).

I am not a vegan or vegetarian, but the food at those places is damn good. The terriyaki "chicken" bowl is delicious and I hear their udon is pretty tasty as well.

No one outside of of "So Cal" can tell you about food there, so use the Regional Section for things like this.
