I am kind of tempted to find a wrecked 240. go a full half cut at the A pillar - to- B Pillar and also cut the body in half and build a full IN CAR simulator haha.

I wanna build my own setup though, people build cheap ones out of PVC pipe that look pretty good.

I think the projector idea would be cheaper than a full all out rig.. Just need a rig that holds seat/steering wheel/shifter/pedals , budget minded projector *of course screen resolution will matter*. Rather than spending a few hundred on 3 lcd setup and building a PC/consoles that will try to push those 3 monitors. Besides, you can do other things with the projector, and not have a "for racing games only" rig in the corner of your room lol

SO NO FORZA 2 :( thinking about buying one of those cheap ass Bride seats off EBAY for the s13 half chop. ill post a writeup when i do

It's "Live For Speed" ( Live for Speed - Online racing simulator (http://www.liveforspeed.net) )

It would be a racing simulator that does well when simulating drifting. I along with zilvia username 'mangoes' have been playing since 2002 or so when it first came out and have both agreed that it has helped us in some ways drifting in real life, for getting techniques down and how-to get close to the walls and bring it back in and such. Then go out to the track in real life to sharpen these skills.

I know a couple of the Formula D Pro Am guys still play too. We mainly use the XRT car to drift, but you can drift others. There are mods too you can download replacing the car with a 240sx or an AE86 and such. Also custom skins you can make. It's lots of fun with people online twin drifting, or drift trains. Really gets my heart pumping when I'm twinning with people who are good enough to keep a really close distance.
