s14 rpm guage not responding when reving or drivng the car

i recently crashed my car (http://zilvia.net/f/#) but everything is fix and running now.... only problem is that the rpm gauge isnt working.... the speed, gas, and temp gauge works just not rpm... what can cause this problem.... the wiring harness is good... what does the rpm read of off? where do i start at.... im new to this problem.... let me know any suggestions thanks

oh yea engine is a 95 ka24de obd1 5 speed..

Me too I got the same problem, I check if a signal is coming to the cluster and a signal was coming. So for me it was the cluster the problem, I try another cluster and now it work.

how did u check if u got a signal from the cluster just curious that be my first step then ill try another cluster and see what happens...
