Time for a hybrid frankenstein b18 type r swap, yo!

I'm assuming that it was a race car in a past life and a rather well funded one considering the condition of the paint. Otherwise the previous owner had a pretty twisted sense of humor. Do you know what type/series of racing it competed in?

My friend bought one on a whim once just because it was there and being sold at the time. Came with all service records and original manual. Things I remember... "new Si" style shifter, absolutely no room for the driver's left foot, and the plastic trunk lid :D.

ruf: Actually, I think it might be the latter. The person I bought it from was not the one that painted it, but he said that the owners previous to him had it done as a joke. This is also realized when one handles the "roll bar" only to find it is constructed of PVC piping. Not to mention this thing has more body roll than a mini van :)

And if only a b18 would fit... The previous owner mentioned a few swaps done with 750cc bike motors and one 1000cc motor. Time to do some research :)

chokudori: Yeah! That thing took me by surprise... it took me forever to find reverse on the test drive (Having the wrong shift knob which places reverse on the opposite end doesn't help either :rolleyes: ).

F THAT! Strip the interior and get a GOOD cage welded in. Then get new carpet or something. Get custom rate springs and revalved struts for that little puppy and go to town!

F20C and put a RWD transaxle in it! :p
