1) according to Heavy Throttle and a few other Swap "DIY" pages, you're supposed to take the shifter you removed from your old KA and put it into the SR transmission that is going into your car, even if the SR gearbox had a shifter with it. this just doesn't make sense to me, they look to me to be the same, can't I just use the SR shifter that came with the gearbox and leave the old KA one for whomever buys the KA's gearbox?

2) speed sensor... everytime i've discussed anything related to this, i've heard that the speedometer itself is what does the km/H or MPH conversion, and that the signal from the speed sensor doesn't matter (e.g. don't need to change speed sensor if you're getting a JDM gauge cluster)... well I'm keeping the MPH speedo, do I still need to out the KA's speed sensor into the SR gearbox? haven't been able to find a solid answer on here...

thanks.

1.) use either shifter it dosent matter

2.) either way its up to you. iirc it plugs in regardless. there is an extra one on the KA that will be unplugged regardless.
