Current wheels are 16x8 35offset. Running a 225 tire all fours which I would like stay with, but with my strut and spring setup, seems I the front tires rub a small tad on the struts. So I was thinking of running something like 5mm spacers on all four. Question is would it require me to get extended studs, or can I just keep my stock lugs and tuner lug nuts? Thinking of using slip on type, any certain types should look for like hubcentric, etc. As far as balance is concerned.

Thanks

I'm pretty sure you're good to at least 10mm with stock lugs.

Its always about the number of turns you get on your lugnuts with stock lug nuts I was only getting 2.5 turns...So I bought some special extended lug nuts they actually go into the wheel about 1/2 inch which gives me a full 7 turns...

First time I've seen that type of lug nut, all I've ever seen is stock or extended open. Never seen closed, but then again never really looked into the matter. I've had the wheels for a while mnaybe 2yrs now or close 2. The tire place that mounted em, the guy at first thought I needed spacers, but later thought I had enough room. I took his word for it as I've had no problems turning or funny sounds. It's just that the last time I took the front wheels off (recently) I noticed to slight black marks on both front struts, kinda like a smear of rubber. Yet when I looked on the inner part of the tire didn't really noticed any signs of rubbing, unless only a small layer rubbed off?

After some searching in older posts, some people were saying at least 4-5 turns of the lug nuts mandatory, before extended lugs/nuts are needed.
