i only took like 7 pics (other two are of the line of cars, which soon turned into two lines on both sides of the road), A LOT of video though, but i dont have the cable needed to transfer it over to my computer.
SOOO many people showed up to the event to watch. it was advertised a lot. there were ever radio stations there. i heard something about there being 3,000 people,. **** loads of rice in the parking area. it was kind of funny though to walk around and hear people talking like they knew stuff, or just not knowing anything period. lots of kids too, like a 10 year old with a video camera. one of the weirdest events (attendance wise) ive been to. a lot of DUMB ****ING COMMENTS were being made too, by people watching. talking **** about the hawaii drivers like they knew what was going on. this is why i like the regular drift events. the people that go are drifters, and they know how things are.
The winners were Ross Petty (S13 coupe), Forrest Wang (S13 fastback), and Stanford Lau (AE86). i couldnt stay till the end though cause my gf had to be home by like 1030. everyone seemed to really push it to the limit, and drive hard. Komatsu and Bai seemed to be crowd pleasers, but they didnt look to be pushing it too hard. id love to see them at 100%.
theres probably more i could say, but i cant think right now. ill leave it to others that were there.
