I'm suprised nobody has said K BBQ yet!? Cook your own food in front of you, as much meat as you can eat. $10/person. There's one called Ma Dang Sae (I think? it's off the 605 and Carson st, city of Cerritos I think), that one is two thumbs up.

Hell yeah! There's another one called Mr. Lee's K BBQ in Cerritos off the South street exit and the 605 freeway. The only thing that sucks is kids are full price ($10/person) and you have to pay for rice.
Does anyone else hate the fact that when you order for water they give you that tea water?
And I haven't tried Soju yet, are they any good? I hear it has a 20% alc content.

it's called greenfield. it's brazillian bbq all you can eat. they bring the meat on skewers to your table...it's like dim sum but with all diff. kinds of meat. it's a nice change of pace in terms of the 'all you can eat' restaurants. $50/person on an exquisite seafood buffet.
Cafe Sierra (http://www.yelp.com/biz/cafe-sierra-at-hilton-universal-city-universal-city) at the Hilton Hotel in Universal City. I been there only once, and my stomach liked it. My wallet begged to differ tho.
If you come for nothing else, come for the variety. And by variety, I mean a delicious myriad of everything from land to sea.
I had:
2 humongous lobster tails, king crab legs (1 plate), dungeness crab (2 plates), cocktail shrimp (these were huge - 1 plate), a couple oysters, shark fin soup (2 bowls), cooked abalone with mushrooms, sashimi & sushi (yellowtail, white fish, tuna, spicy tuna, rolls, hand rolls), pasta made to order, bread (I can't help myself), clam salad, crab salad, jellyfish salad, beef carpaccio, 2 slices of prime rib, walnut shrimp, sauteed crab, creamed corn, fondue, creme brulee, hagan daaz ice cream, tiramisu, cheese cake, pumpkin pie...freshly made crepes (build your own style), and a whole gallon of tea.
Theres a list of things I didn't partake in like lamb, ribs, and a bunch of salad and other breads that were obvious fillers.
And so......I'm pretty sure I got my moneys worth. I mean it isn't super fresh compared to some world class seafood restaurants out there, but the service, ambiance (yes - it is classy), and massive amount of food is worth the trip. It's a buffet. People.

Ma Dang Sae Korean BBQ all you can eat $10, or $15 with other variety of meats.
Located in Los Angeles at the intersection of Vermont Ave and James M Wood Blvd.
So I guess I'll be ghetto and say Golden Corral, but in my area the Casinos and the best deal. But unless your a fat ass or can eat alot buffet's are a rip off.

Friends uncle owns Todai. Not bad but the Sushi is kinda mediocre. The cooked food is good though.

I'd suggest that you pay the extra $5 and get all the variety of meats. The $15 deal provides you the option to get the marinated beef along with a few others. It's so soft and full of flavor you'll be coming back for more I promise. However, all I really eat is the marinated beef and the briskets along with the side dishes such as kimchi and such, which is already paid for in the $10 or $15 package. Enjoy and I hope you like it :]

I've been trying the Japanese charcoal BBQ a lot recently.
I go to Gyu-Kyaku in Pasadena (or Beverly Hills) for around $25/person.
They have an extended menu for $35, but not worth the premium imo;

http://www.yelp.com/biz/gyu-kaku-pasadena
Idk about the K-BBQ's.
I think it's worth it to pay for some of the nicer ones.
meat/marinade quality at some of the cheaper but more popular places (Manna, Mu Dung San) is just not that great.
It is also annoying when the servers turn the heat down on your grille (cheap bastards).
I like coming to this spot (Cheong Wun) in Hollywood.
Choeng Wun Korean BBQ Restaurant - Los Angeles, CA (http://www.yelp.com/biz/choeng-wun-korean-bbq-restaurant-los-angeles#hrid:CsTGJD_MgvCawH8QwlQAAA/src:self)
It's around $22 but I don't mind spending an extra couple bucks for quality

Gyu-Kyaku is amazing! Probably my favorite place at the moment. Wife and I go there few times a month now. The All-you-can eat menu is damn good and cheap. I even have a frequent buyer card - lol
I do the Topanga Canyon one.
