does anyone know which vehicle came with the ka24e and the 9.1:1 compression ratio. i know that it is the early 88 ka24e that had these. if i can get vehicle type and year pistons are available wholesale for me. they have a slight dome instead of slight dish. are they in any u.s. car or truck?

Early '88. . . that's when the KA was brand new. I *think* that (in the US) you only had the KA at that time in the Stanza. I seem to recall reading it wasn't in the trucks untill a bit later on. Anybody have more details on this?

the stanza was what i was thinking about as well. i havent been able to find much info on its compression ratio as im still looking. courtesy nissan sells these pistons oem. im going to look for a part number and maybe that will get me what i want to know. i would be able to get these pistons at wholesale price aftermarket

another assumption would be the very early 89 model 240sx with out the sensor on the airbox. here is the nissan service bulletin

timing chain kits are also different for the KA24 012039 and 89-90 240 ka. which could also mean it is fwd stanza engine. i would really like to figure this out. i cant find stanza ka24e compression ratio or engine number
