FWD Starters wont work, ONLY A RWD SR Starter will work.

Find a place that will rebuild it for you or rebuild it yourself by swapping the internals from a KA starter

^ Man why even ask us questions if your not gonna fix it yourself? I dont like it when 240 owners dont wrench on there own car...
HAHA first time I had to do a starter in a 240 I ended up on my back in the middle of a USA gas parking lot when I was supposed to be on a date.
Luckily the chick was cool and she sat there with me while I did it. lol
seriously a starter is probably on eof the easiest things to replace on a car, why would you ask where to get one and then take it to a shop, they will find one for you and assrape you like they should for not doing it yourself.

this is another option
S962 Nissan 200SX Serena Vanette 2.0 Petrol 92- Starter on eBay (end time 16-Dec-09 21:22:13 GMT) (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/S962-Nissan-200SX-Serena-Vanette-2-0-Petrol-92-Starter_W0QQitemZ220284944807QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK _CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item334a0181a 7)
instead of a Hitachi electronic motor this uses a Mitsubishi motor and it is faster than the slower Hitachi starter pricey but it is only 30 bucks more than the Mishimoto.... It also comes with a 1 year replacement guarantee.

are you sure it was actually the starter? mine would click but not turn over. it ended up being the solenoid. i replaced it with a solenoid from a ka starter.
i did a small write up with pictures on it on another forum.
