i dont know whats going on has a very rought idle , surging sometimes will turn off when coming to a stop , bost gauge sits at around 18 on vacuum , but i can hit full boost with no problem, sometimes will sputter if i cruise on 3k
had to raise idle so it wont die on me , by adjusting cable , and adjusted aicv screw , all the way to the top ,
new used o2, new coolant temp sensor for ecu
cleaned maf this past sunday
about a week or 2 old new spark plugs ,
about a 8 month old prelude sock ,
BOV is a 2nd gen HKS SSQV non recirculated
greddy piping except for one pipe on cold side ,
some kind of fmic
no canister
also ,
should i recirculate it
buying new fuel filter today
mabye timing? it is advanced a little bit
mabye boost leak ,
what else should i do or check
only thing i can think is timing or ign components ... possibly fuel but start with timing

Look at your spark plugs... If the are 2 weeks old, its perfect time to check them... See if they are fouled... and how they are fouled as well. you can post pictures of them here... Also check your couplings... just in case for boost leak... but check your timing too

Timing and anything that can affect it

yea im going to check all that , ill check spark plugs tonight , and timing soon as i find a gun
i do need to find my boost leak tester tho , and probly get new vacuum lines just because ,
*i still have that pink one from japan lol*
im thinkin fuel filter may be making it stutter occasionaly , but not sure about the idle and richness
im guessing idle from a nasty iacv

Normally you wouldn't do this.
Most common thing is vacuum leak. Check all your hoses.

im having the same issue, but NA. Sry to jack you thread. but ive also changed all the above, re-ran the PCV since the previous owner removed it, and bought a new FPR.
Im starting to lean towards bad injectors. let me know what ya got.
Have not done compression check yet, all emissions removed (from previous owner)
91 Auto ECU with 91 Manual DE. Also tired to swap ecu with Vert Auto ecu. still no luck.

took off intake mani and iacv and cleaned it with q tips using brake cleaner and carb cleaner ,
idles like a champ at like 1400 but my throttle cable is all the way down like its supose to , still need to adjust iacv
my boost even inc i think there was a leak somewhere , it idles at 20 vacum but only boosted 10psi
it was supose to boost closer to 15

hey quan its phillip from SA, did you do an ecu diagnostic? try that first to eliminate all posibilities of a bad sensor. and what about fuel pressure? are you regulating it? finally got all my problems fixed on my sr thank god

turn the idle back down. unplug you maf. if it starts running normal its you maf.
to me it sounds like the maf is shot. what did you clean it with?
if thats not it then it prolly a vacuum leak. seafoam you engine and you will see were it is.
and yes you should recirc the bov if ur using a maf or at least get an idle stabalizer.

quan its mark bro! Well the coupe i got is doing the same damn thing and qui-que messed with the IACV and I got no clue how to adjust that damn thing what does what on it... Cause im running very rich as like fuel coming out of the exhaust pipe...which is just a fence post coming out the ass.

how do you know its running rich?, do you have a wideband?
You shouldn't have to adjust your throttle plate or idle air control valve. At all, your just adding to the problem.
return all your factory setting, close the throttle body again, bring the IAC to where it was originally and start diagnostics.
re trace your steps its prolly somthing you touched last.
--new used o2, why used?! replace it with known working sensor
new coolant temp sensor for ecu why did you change this?, replace it with your old one
cleaned maf this past sunday
about a week or 2 old new spark plugs , pull them out and read them, check gap..
about a 8 month old prelude sock , wtf?
BOV is a 2nd gen HKS SSQV non recirculated will not effect idle
greddy piping except for one pipe on cold side , any leak behind the MAF will drive your car nuts.
some kind of fmic
no canister
