hi guys, i just recently bought kw v3s and got them installed.
they don't come with camber plates and when i searched it only came up with fronts.
i need rears and found hks camber plates, but they are only compatible with hks coils..
i also checked the KW site and they don't sell camber plates for 240sx
any idea where i can find camber plates ?

you adjust rear camber with upper control arm links

front is adjustable with camber plates

why do u need rear camber plates???? the would do absolutly NOTHING for rear camber in an s-chasiss
you need adjustable Rear Upper Control Arms.

well when i installed them they make a nasty sound when i'm driving
like its making contact with the bushing in the rear..
unless there is no way to get rid of that sound

and yeah i have ruca's already
thanks for feedback/not flaming me.

it could be springs binding

check your preload

could also be binding between the rucas or the toe arms

i checked the preload it's fine
i guess i will check the ruca/toe arms

edit: it's not the ruca/toe arms binding

how did you check it?

jack the rear end up then use a jack under the hub / wheel all the way up and down look for anything coming close to eachother

your problem shouldnt be in the coilover imo

yeah, i checked it that way.
the sound is coming from the 'higher side' of the coil basically.
it sounds like it's coming from the trunk/stereo panel. like something is loose.
basically where it's mounted

check the bolt that hols the top of the shock together. it might be loose.

are you sure it's not a "i've never had coilovers before in my life, every creak is something new that's broken" sound, i.e. nothing? i used to hear those all the time when i first got coils. also, are you POSITIVE it's not preload or a loose top bolt? there is nothing else at the top that could make noise, unless they're exploded.

yeah man

my springs chatter all the time

it just works out that way because the ends of them sometimes aren't smooth

what you can do is flip the springs and see if it goes away
