240sx wont start

Ok, so I haven't driven my 240 a lot in hte past 6 months due to having a company car. I just tried to start it up last night and it wouldn't fire. All electronics were running SLOW, wipers, seat belts etc..So I took the battery to autozone, they charged it. Installed it this am, all electronics are working fine but the car wont start. I am hearing a weird clicking from in between the two front seats. Is there a solenoid there? or is it a starter issue? its been really cold and wet as well if that makes a difference. It hasn't turned over/cranked at all since those 6 months?

Your starter solenoid is not energizing at all. It may or may not be the cause though. Visually check all starter connections for corrosion/loose connections.

Also locate your Starter relay [should be in engine bay junction block] and touch it while someone is trying to start the engine. You should hear/feel the movement of a switch. If not.. replace it.

Do you own a voltmeter?
If not borrow one and place the positive lead on the battery positive terminal and the negative lead on the starters B+ terminal (it is the one with the giant red battery cable strapped to it). Crank the engine and see what the meter says. It should be no more then .2 volts. You can check the ground side too by placing positive lead on ground terminal and negative lead on starter body. More then .2volts on either side indicates high resistance in the starter circuit and because of that theres not enough amperage going to your starter solenoid.

Check the clutch safety/neutral safety switch connections also.
