what are some ways to get more room on the intake side of the engine?
was thinking about buying a different intake mani but, i dont want to pay 500 bucks.
will a s14 mani fit on a s14 silvia q engine? (the n/a de)
what about the ebay ones. i know they may not fit well, or have enough vac ports, but how are they overall?
could really use some help/ knowledge here.
is there a difference between the s13 and s14 intake on the block? or just in the manifold itself?

what intake mani do you have?..
ive owned a N/A SR on my S13 with the FREDDY mani... but the DET ramhorn mani fitted right in. not to mention i also put it the 370cc it came with.

Well if you get the FREDDY one for the DET it will fit just fine. Its not going to give you more space under your hood because of how massive it is,but it'll give you plenty of room underneath it.
But i wouldnt recommend the FREDDY mani, especially with the N/A SR you have. From my experience, it picked up hella slow with that manifold.
But if space is what your looking for, then go for it.

Besides, why are you looking for more space in your engine bay anyways?

I found that the ISIS manifold is nicer then the Ebay. The ports are clean up more and the casting is better quality. I know the ISIS uses the same cast as the Greddy not sure about the Freddy.
Its worth the money for $150 shipped...
