i have a 98 s14 automatic and i had a weird code today
it flashed *9*2*5*12 i have no clue what this means.

sounds to me like you're reading your codes wrong.

i read it like 10 times and every single time it came up with those codes

Is it even possible to get single digit codes?

You are counting the short flashes as multiples of 10 and long flashes at multiples of 1, yes?

happen like this: long flash 9X's, quick flash 2X's, long flash 5X's, quick flash 12X's

that would equal to: the first set being 92 and the second set being 512... im sure there is no code 512 so maybe its five and twelve.

if you search i know there is a link to a site that has a list of most, if not all, of the ecu codes.

EDIT: actually if the long pauses are ones than your codes might be 9, 25, and 12
