View Full Version : how do you adjust kouki headlights?

yeah, i can't seem to figure out how to adjust my kouki headlights cuz the right side is pointing to low... thanks in advanced would i need any tools also? i've tried turning that clear plastic hexagon stick pointing out and it doesn't seem to do anything.

there are 2 8MM studs to use for adjusting. On the back towards the middle of the lamp is the one for adjusting vertically, and right next to the clear stick is the other one for adjusting horizontally.

That clear stick is a guide for the Side to Side adjustment of the lights, It's snapped into the body of the headlight. The rod in its center is mounted on the frame inside.

There are 3 bolts on the back of the housing. They go into the frame inside of the headlight. Only 2 are used for adjusting, third is a triangulation point.

On the outer side of that clear tube there is a aluminum rod with a nut fitting. Adjust this till the red line on the rod lines up with the blue ring on the clear tube. This sets your side to side.

On the other side of the low beam in the center between the low and the high there are 2 more bolts. The top one(flush) is the triangulation and should be tight. The bottom one should stick out a bit. This is the height adjustment. Use it to get the bubble in the glass level.

Double check the side to side.

Thanks for this. It really helped aim my headlight and a perfect reference point into properly doing it. Ur the man.
