View Full Version : US Army Brats Attempt Murder of Japanese Woman

The group decided to amuse themselves by stringing a rope across a 6.5 metre wide road in order to interfere with traffic, and soon got their desire when a 23-year-old Japanese woman riding a moped was thrown from her bike after riding into the rope.

She cracked her skull on the ground in a violent fall, suffering a severe skull fracture.

The four were apprehended by police at the scene, with bystanders and security cameras witnessing the incident; police soon charged them with attempted murder.

The group admitted their crimes, saying “We didn’t think it would be a big thing” and “We didn’t think people would think of this as attempted murder."

US armed forces stationed in Japan enjoy a variety of special privileges, and Japanese police actually
had to secure their permission to arrest two of the perpetrators who lived on the base.

The US forces impudently refused to hand over the pair for over a week after the initial arrest warrant was served, perhaps thinking police would not renew it after its week-long validity expired. However, Japanese police merely renewed it and after several days of further wrangling the base finally agreed to
hand over the pair to face charges.

US bases in Japan, though an integral part of the nation’s defence policy and strategic US alliance, are extremely unpopular in the localities they operate, chiefly thanks to the highly criminal tendencies of the average US army serviceman as compared to the general populace.

A series of high-profile rapes, murders and robberies has ensured US armed forces have had to become increasingly careful lest they further erode the already sceptical public support for the bases, a lesson.Yokota apparently failed to learn…

Was the chick wearing a helmet? Sounds like she wasen't. I've seen people 'pretend' to pull a string across the road but nobody actually doing it hah. This is sad, you would think they would drop the rope if a bike rode through

strategic airlift is what yokota, which is where this happeded is what we are here for.
We distribute troops, supplies and humanitarian aid all over hte pacific. Tsunami, landslides, earthquakes, typhoons, etc. We are the largest airlift hub in the pacific

so to answer your question, we are here for a stepping stone to fuck N Korea.

these dependants are idiots too

yeah, i was a dependent and actually grew up at yokota AFB. went to the elementary school and high school there. yokota is definitely a base that would have to stay there lol .

but yeah when i was high school we did all kinds of stupid shit there. pretty much everything short of rape and murder so i guess i can say that i played a part in making Americans look bad there but we NEVER even came CLOSE to thinking about hurting the people like that. thats bull shit.

I think they were trying to get a bike. They strung the rope across the road. Unless those kids think they can stop a car.

Have any of you guys stationed over there ever faced some sort of discrimination from the local people? The Japanese writer of this article almost seems to describe US military personal as mindless animals that just want to rape, kill, and rob Japanese people.

source: NSFW? Makes me wonder how true it really is...

assuming it is true though, I'm not sure what the army has to do with anything that these kids did...it's not like the army forced them to act retarded.

I'm assuming that they thought the cars would see the rope and stop, creating a traffic jam.

We used to to the "invisible rope" thing all the time. Maybe they were trying to do that and just missed the point of the exercise.

this is very true. they were turned over to the JP police recently.
but there isnt any solid evidence apparently. Just a camera footage that shows them in the area.

Doing something like this is pretty messed up, no matter where it happened and who did it to who. Although I imagine if the people who did it to me were some foreigners I do not even want in my country, it would only make me that much more upset.

Ok ...how old were these kids? I bet 100% of you have done stupid shit in your life times-----real stupid shit. Sure the kids are morons but think about when you were 10-11 or whatever you never thought of consequences you only thought about oh that would be fun.

I agree most kids are getting destructive and need to be beaten severely these days, for example look at most of this forums members.

Another thing is to ask yourself.......how much stuff like this goes on in the old US of A? Blowing up mail boxes, throwing rocks at passing cars, etc etc. Shit happens...its sucks its sad but it happens. Beat the kids senseless show it at base schools ---chances are shits still gonna happen

Before throwing stones think about the house you all reside in.

So worse things have happened in the past?! Has anyone been formally charged in the past with the crimes mentioned above, or did they get the slip?

I don't know how the laws in Japan are, but I wouldn't call it attempted 'murder'.
murder would entail premeditation (planning) of killing and malice.

None of those were actually present.

two of the kids ought to be prosecuted,
but maybe for something along to lines of manslaughter (if the lady dies).

just because it happens doesn't mean it's okay. if that's the way the judicial system worked, we'd all be fucked. we all remember doing stupid shit, but i would venture to guess that none of us remember doing stupid shit that put a bystander in the hospital with life threatening injuries. will these kids get tried for attempted murder? probably not, but if you think they should get away scot-free because, "boys will be boys", you're an idiot.

Really! Your dumb ass is giving a justification for that shit! Were is the accountability!! They should be caned then made to hold signs stating what they did while picking up trash! Regardless of the outcome of the court system, they should be booted out of Japan! I don't care if it causes the AD parent to lose their career! If u cant keep your kids in check I don't want u by my side!:bash:

I have NO idea what the fuck you're talking about.

Growing up as a kid, I did my share of stupid shit, but NOTHING to cause bodily harm to another human being(or animals for that matter).

I've NEVER blown up a mail box, thrown rocks at passenger cars(who the fuck does this anyway?), etc.

These "brats" need to understand that there's consequences to their actions.

What if the girl had died from the accident? Then what? Do you still want to say "boys will be boys" and let them off the hook?

I wouldn't go easy on them. At all.

As far as the corporal punishment thing goes: I agree. I was beaten as a child. I mean, not beaten, but my mom had this wooden spoon... And if I fucked up all the had to say was the word "spoon" and I'd straighten the fuck up before she deemed it necessary that I sit funny for a few hours lol. And by God, I'll hit my children too. Kids are like dogs. Positive reinforcement only goes so far. Sometimes you gotta yell and smack them on the ass to make them do what you want.

I say beat the kids within an inch of their lives, then let the Imperial judicial system work out a more "humane" punishment.
