5spd conversion with sr20det swap ??

The car I hope to get is a 93 240sx coupe auto, for a really good price actually. A deal that I just can't pass up. But anyway, here's the link I read about the S13 "Auto to 5spd" conversion. http://zilvia.net/f/archive-faqs/21181-auto-5-speed-swap.html I understand the parts listed in that link are needed to complete the conversion. Now I also plan to get a complete SR20DET swap as well.

Will I still need to obtain all those same parts separately, that is listed in that link? Or do I just need a few parts? And if so, which ones would I need specifically to go with the SR20DET swap? Cause I assume the engine swap already has manual transmission parts.

I plan to do the swap and conversion myself. I'm not a professional mechanic, but I'm sure I can manage to perform this type of job. As I've worked on car's plenty of times. And going to my mechanic to do both, is my last option. Thanks, I appreciate everyones response.

Its not hard, the sr20det swap should come with the 5speed trans, shifter and what not, all you need is the clutch pedel, drive shaft(manual), clutch slave and master cylinder, either the hard line or steel braided line, tranny xmember, and re wire the lower harness(use the ka harness and just change the plugs)

1.Clutch pedel
2.Drive shaft
3.Clutch Slave
4.Clutch Master
5.Clutch Hardlines/Braided Lines
6.Manual Transmission Crossmember
7.Wiring

The best thing you can do is get a front clip. It will have all the manual parts you need.

wait im in the same situation....so do u keep the ka speed sensor at all?what exacly do i need to keep from my old ka24de motor and tranny??thanks
