Ok well I searched but all i could come across were clicker issues and only one thread that helped somewhat.

Well I Just did a Kouki S14 SR swap into a 1995 S14 SE for a friend. Wiring harness was done by Yury at Wiring Specialties.

The car has an OEM alarm but no clicker. Car also was supposedly a "Flood Car" along with quite a few wires that were chewed up by a damn rat. chewed through the two relays next to the interior fuse box one being the fuel pump relay along with quite a few others, so i soldered them back together.
Clutch safety switch is by-passed also.

Now ive never dealt with an S14 with an OEM alarm so not sure what could cause what.
The Security light blinks when the key is removed and turns off when the key is turned to on. All i hear is two relay's click when i attempt to start. Starter solenoid does not engage at all.

From what i was reading in the FSM the SECU is triggered when it recives a ground from the door switches and hood switch. Alarm does not go off at all.

Right now the hood is off the car (so the switch is not depressed) and i just noticed before i called it a night I saw that a rat chewed through the driver side door switch wires (all three wires were kinda touching together).
So im guessing that this would cause the alarm to arm and inhibit the car from starting?? Will the car crank if the hood switch is not depressed?

I've read that unlocking the Door or trunk with the key will disarm it. (did not try yet)

does the OEM alarm also kill the fuel pump? I hear the fuel pump replay click but i dont hear it prime. (didnt have volt meter with me at the time)

I would rather just permanently disable the the alarm since its basically just gonna be a track car. I read Russ said to "Ground the Disarm Wire"?? Where is this wire?

So thanks to anyone that can point me in the right direction

The theft warning system is going to divert power away from the starter solenoid. You need to figure out what is tripping the theft warning relay.

The missing wires don't sound good. You need to check every single wire and fix everything back to stock.

I thought so, which relay cuts power from the starter solenoid? is it the one next to the engine bay relay box labeled Anti Theft? sounds like that one just arms the alarm

I know about the wires, and will be repaired when i get some time to work on it again.

I guess i really need to go to town with the voltmeter.

try to wire it from ur starter to ur igintion under ur steering wheel..if it work u dont need to press the clutch to turn it on...most likely an alarm issue

ummm what?? I dont under stand what your saying.

I would rather use all existing wires rather than ghetto rigging it. and as stated before clutch switch is already bypassed.

if it is truly a flood car then the electrical system in the car will never be "right" again. you can spend the rest of your days chasing down every electrical problem in the car and it will still have gremlims. the problem is the car itself.

True, but seems like everything works in the car: windows, doors, dash, lights just this Alarm is getting me, i still havent been able to work on it since sun so i havent tried any of the FSM things

Do what you can with the FSM first. Then ask if you have any specific problem.
