Average price on a 5 speed transmission swap?

What's the average price on a 5 speed tranny with all the parts needed?? Just wondering what I'm looking to spend. Thanx!

this is for a 95-98 minus the labor costs. I plan on doing this myself.

also, you may need to add a bit more for a clutch, if the tranny doesnt come with one, or looks in bad shape. might as well replace it before its on the car

I got it easy i have a chassis that is all rusty(5speed) and another chassis that is fine(auto) so i have all the parts. But then in a acouple of months my car is gettin a heart transplant so i will have everything ready for the new ca18 to make it feel right at home.

hahahahha thats the price for S13 parts . He has a S14 they get a lot more expensive for the swap parts .I know I wrote the faq on this stuff.
Oh yeah once again. Have we heard of the function called search?
