i have a s14 and the problem is its overheating. stock ka n/a. i was running it without a tstat because this is my 3rd tstat still overheating. now i did the jack up the front of ur car when bleeding the cooling system still dont work. i think my tstat is still not opening but this tstat came from nissan should work fine. my waterpump is good. no leaks. now if i bleed it the wrong way would it cause the tstat not to open? any suggestions for the tstat not opening? thanks.

Have you had any ignition problems? Like the car stuttering at any point, or hard to start sometimes?

are you loseing water? replace the rad cap.. it did wonders for me.. take your hose and really flush the rad and water paths really good.. other than that i would lean tward head gasket
i have been running no thermostat for months now and i have no problums at all.. i removed it because the one i was useing was waiting until my gauge hit the h to open
