CALLING ALL BIKE RIDERS!

when: Sunday 11/29/09 (THATS THIS SUNDAY!!!)
time: 7:30am meet up...8/8:15 roll out
where: MEET UP IN ARCADIA (PM ME FOR ADDRESS)
route: Santa Fe Dam trail south to the beach (or as long as we last)

we will make stops along the way for restroom and or food breaks but really plan to just stop at the end to eat as a group.

bring water
bring a sweatshirt (it will be cold in the AM)
bring backpack with tools
bring phone in case of emergency
bring music to listen to while riding


this is open to all fixed/single speed or road bike riders...

awesome, what is the final destination? or address? or miles? so I can mentally prepare myself for xx amount of miles. Are we riding back too? what kinda pace are we looking at 13mph? 15mph?

about 60miles round trip...pace will be moderate, wont leave anyone behind...final destination would be Seal Beach i believe

you can ride your bmx if you want...but it will be hard for you to keep up

I always get confused where to turn at the whittier crossroads. I've taken them a few times but I am not sure which one takes us to the beach.

Head count? any roadies or just fixed? What is your gearing on fixed?? I am on 50/18 which is about 75 gear inches, similar to 48/17.

well ive got GPS on my phone, and the link says to head south. there are 2 single speed riders, and 2 road bikes coming for sure. im running 48/18 right now, but might flip it over to 48/16
