This only happens to me when I'm idling for more than 1 minute, my exhaust starts to billow with white smoke, two things I can do to stop it is just continue driving and it won't happen OR I can turn the car off and when I turn it back on the smoke will stop coming out, whether it be at a drive-thru or a stop light, as long as I idle for a while it'll happen.

I think it's oil leaking but I don't know where to check and what to replace.:duh:

What do you all think?

TIA

I'm willing to bet it's a blown turbo exhaust seal. Replace or rebuild turbo.

Any other thoughts or is a leakdown the way to go?

Have the same problem. Sending my turbo off to be rebuilt. Also going to do a compression test. When I put the motor back in I want everything to be perfect. But yea I would bet on the turbo oil seals.
